Day 2 - Google is giving me a headache!

I thought setting up Adword's would be easy! But hell no it isn't! As you can probably tell, yes that's right, the second campaign has also been suspended.

I woke up fresh in the morning thinking I'll be able to make some progress today, but instead I received an email from Adwords-support saying "the site could not be advertised on Google Tas the ads (and your entire business model) is in violation of our policy on Unrealistic and Misleading Promotions and Get Rich Quick Schemes".
Well for Adwords information I am clearly not selling any product. This blog is solely based on let users know what I am doing on the process of this experiment and taking suggestions from those who are interested.

They also advised me that I would need to add a privacy policy page and a terms and conditions page, all of which I have done now. I do not understand the need for all of this even though I am not selling anything on the site. Completely baffled!

Anyways on a positive note I have started to tweet on Twitter now. Give me a follow on @IrrelevantOps with more updates with progress or even if you just want to raise my followers!
I've also added an About me page, have a read it's not that boring!

Day 1 cont.

So if you've read my previous posts you'll now know that not only am I stuck with what type of content I can use but also Google Adwords has disapproved of my first campaign.

But hey not all was lost there! Instead of giving up I created a second campaign which hasn't been taken down yet so I'll keep you updated on what happens with it.

Anyways, so I've sort of got a set general format with the YouTube, Twitter and this blog account so it all looks tidy but as I've said there isn't any content! Help me out by giving me suggestions! Please!

Last thing I wanted to let you know is that I've purchased a domain name for this blog : www.sleepingmoneymaker.co,uk, its a private domain that I purchased from GoDaddy.com for only £23.37 for 2 years which I've got to admit is quite cheap. They also had an option available to have it as a public domain for only £1.00 each month for the first year but obviously I purchased the private one as it is less hassle even if it is a little pricey.

So by the end of today I've not even spent £30 which is pretty amazing for start up costs!

Google Adword's issue!

So obviously to gain more traffic on this blog I thought what can go wrong if I tested out Google Adwords, well here's the feedback on that.

• Creating the ad itself was as easy as counting up to 123. The instructions were clear and simple so everything seemed totally fine. 
• It has a lot of navigation options so they have a guide which makes it fairly simple to actually know exactly what you are doing.
• I then, hit a brick wall! I received an email from Google Adwords with the subject header "Urgent Warning - Your Adwords Account May Get Suspended". Obviously after reading that I got a little worried. Come on anybody would be a little worried, I've only just started with this whole thing but they're deciding to suspend me. 
• So consequently I read through the email and it said that I had violated one of the policies: Misleading or unrealistic promotions.
• I do not understand how my blog is misleading or unrealistic. My site is not telling anyone that I will be making THEM money at all. My blog clearly states that it is a money making experiment.

So therefore guys, Google Adwords has deemed to be absolutely of no use to me!

Day 1 - Researching methods

So I've been browsing through the internet pretty much all day, researching methods to make money whilst sitting at home with minimal effort.
This is the list of methods that, let's say I've "stumbled upon", so far:

• E-Books
• YouTube
• Facebook
• Twitter
• Webinars

I won't go into much detail about these, they pretty much speak for themselves. 

After discovering these methods, I spoke to a few people who were interested in this experiment that I was doing. They suggested that I first of all create a foundation. I'm not going to lie I was a little confused by what they meant by creating a 'foundation' so I'll be surprised if you know what I mean without explaining. 

1. Creating a foundation - A foundation is were and how you are based. For me I created a foundation on the internet by setting myself up with an email for starters, I've obviously set this blog up, I've set up a YouTube account and a Twitter account. I've still only managed to figure out what sort of content I'll be adding on this blog which I've already explained in depth on the previous blog post (first blog post). Other than this blog, I am seriously confused with what to do with the YouTube and Twitter profiles. If you have any suggestions please get in contact as it will be really helpful.
2. Contacting me - Well the whole experiment can only take place if I have you guys contacting me with suggestions and ideas of methods that I can test out. So even though I'm not sure about the content of the social sites, one way that it already benefits me is, is the means of you guys contacting me. Please, please do get in contact with any ideas that you may have. If not ideas I will be really happy if you even leave comments on how I can improve what I am doing. All criticism, from anybody and from anywhere will be really helpful at this stage as I have only just started up.

Want to make money? Doing nothing?

Well that's what I want to do. I want to be able to sit on my backside and have money rolling in.

First of all, I'll tell you a little more about me...

I'm going to be keeping myself anonymous but anyway's this is my story. I'll be honest with you, I'm actually not even 20 yet but if there's one thing I'm out of my mind about, it's got to be... MONEY. Yep, I am utterly obsessed about money.

Unlike other bloggers and people that keep giving irrelevant opinions about how you can make money without actually showing you any practical proof of if the method even works, this blog is totally different. I'm not going to be giving you tips. Instead I'm going to take tips from you and make it happen. That's right. I won't be helping you, but I need your help.

The purpose of this blog is that I will take your opinion or suggestion on board and I will practically make it happen. All you have to do is communicate with me via this blog, my YouTube account, my Twitter account or if need be I'll even create a Facebook account just so I could speak to you guys.

I want to work together with you and try to make money. If ever you've wanted to try out money making techniques but haven't had the time to make it happen, or if you've just got ideas but have doubts about the methods, drop me a message and I will try it out for you. After trying out the method that you guys tell me about, I'll post updates explaining what I've done so far and if I've had any progress, in other words how much money I've lost, or if I've made any money at all.

So this money making experiment is basically in your hands. I'm counting on your suggestions and idea, so its time for everyone to put their thinking caps on. I'll try out your ideas so that you don't have to worry about failing yourself, it'll be all on me.
